World Missions
Bread of Life Orphanage and Feeding Centers cares for orphans the unborn, homeless children and needy families, by being their voice to the world so that they will not be forgotten. In 2000 they began working with the needy families and poor children of Brosteni, Romania. The needs in the town were overwhelming. With the blessings and provisions of God, they purchased a large, three-story building in Brosteni in April of 2002. After many months of renovation, the orphanage was opened and is now the home for seventy children. They also run a Soup Kitchen in Brosteni and 51 Feeding Centers scattered in villages around Romania where they feed 2500+ children.

The Samaritan’s Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoebox gifts‑filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items—and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way. For many of these children, the gift—filled shoebox is the first gift they have ever received. Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child, the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind, has collected and delivered more than 198 million shoebox gifts to children in more than 170 countries and territories. This year, the project expects to collect its 200 millionth gift-filled shoebox!
