Ryan and Paula Bristow
Lead Pastor
Bishop Ryan Bristow is a 3rd generation Church of God minister. A native of Alabama, he married his wife, Paula, in 1997. They began full-time ministry in 1998. Together, they have served in several capacities, including Children’s Pastor, Youth Pastor, Lead Pastor, and Youth & Discipleship Director for Alabama and Florida. They have four beautiful daughters: Chesley, Abby, Emileigh, and Lauren. Chesley is married to Chase, and they have Ryan and Paula’s first granddaughter, Kyndal Ryan. It is their greatest honor to serve the local church and reach the community with the love of Jesus Christ.
Scott and Stephanie Girlie

Scott and Stephanie have been in ministry since 1999 and on staff at CATB since 2013. Together, they have served as Children’s Pastor, Student Pastor, and Associate Pastor. They have three sons: Landon, Ethan, and Grayson.
Jennifer and Tim Gilliland

Jennifer has served at Church at the Brook as Worship Pastor since November 2016. Jennifer developed a love for music at an early age singing and playing the piano at church. She has been involved in ministry as a Worship Pastor in the Church of God for over 25 years. She has been married to Tim since 1992 and they have two children, Tori and Tolliver who is married to Emily. They enjoy spending time with family and spoiling their granddaughters, Marleigh and Madelyn.
Dean and Tori Faust
Children’s Pastor

Dean and Tori Faust are our Children’s Pastors. They have been married for 40 years, have three children and three granddaughters. They have completed CAMS and MIP ministry class with the Church of God. Dean received his Exhorters license in 2014 and have also received the Shepherd’s Cup Award, a national award for excellence in children’s ministry with the Church of God. They have served at CATB for over 30 years in different capacities in children’s ministry. Their heart is teaching children about the Lord and watching them grow spiritually.
Colby and Bethany Faust
Junior High Student Pastor

Colby and Bethany have served as Middle School/Jr. High Pastors since 2020. Coming from ministry families has given them a clear passion for Jesus and a servanthood. They have two daughters-Paisleigh (3) and Molleigh Beth (1). Their heart is for the youth of this age to know Jesus fully and have a growing relationship with Him.
Blake and Holly Johnson
Student Pastor

Blake and Holly have been our Senior High Student Pastors since 2017. Together they have three children: Tatum, Aubrey, and Aaron. They have been in youth ministry since 2012. It is their desire to see young people realize their God given potential and become everything they were meant to be by the power of His Spirit.
Ashleigh Merritt

Ashleigh Merritt has been apart of the Church at the Brook family since 2017. She is a member of the Worship Team and is a Children’s Church Teacher. Outside of church, she is an Elementary Teacher. Her goal is to make every person who steps through the church doors feel the family atmosphere and the love of Christ.
Crystal Bass
Nursery Coordinator
Crystal coordinates all the volunteer workers for the children’s department for newborns up to kindergarten. She has been a member of CATB for over 20 years. She is married to Paul and they have a son named Anthony. Upon re-dedicating my life to the Lord and getting baptized, I immediately begin working in children’s ministry. Crystal loves to see children grow in the Lord.
Charlotte Gentry

Charlotte Gentry has been an administrative assistant for church office for the past six years. She previously worked in public education and retired after twenty five years of service.

Media and Livestream Director
Conor Gilpin is the media and livestream director for CATB.
Scott and Summer Pate
Outreach and Mission Directors
Scott and Summer have been married over 20 years. They have three children; Sommer, Hayden, and Skylar; three granddaughters; Abbie, RaeLeigh, and McKinley. Their desire is to be the hands and feet of Jesus and see the lost come into the Kingdom of God by his grace.
