The main goal of Pastor David
and Teresa Hewett is to put children in the right
SPOT. The Children's Ministry
seeks to prepare the children to discover God's plan for their
lives.While we love unconditionally, accept, and care for
them, we equip them with the Word of God.
Nursery:
We have a volunteer staff to run our
nursery, which cares for babies from birth to three years old. We have a
Visual-Seeker Pager
system for parents to pick a number as they drop off their little ones.
Our nurseries run on Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, and Wednesday
nights.
Preschool:
We have separate Children's Worship
services on Sunday morning at 10:45 for our preschoolers. Our 3
year-olds through Kindergarten have their own service designed just
for them.
Elementary:
KIDZ SPOT
is for 1st - 6th grade at 10:45 a.m. Which includes praise and worship,
games, prizes, puppets, skits, custom characters, and a children's
sermon.
Wednesday
Night Programs:
We believe that variety spices things
up. Our Wednesday night services change through the year. From having boys and girls clubs, JOY University, Kidz Spot Worship, Musical rehearsals, and during
the summer we have Son Games.
Children do not get bored with this variety of options all year. Our
preschoolers are involved in Son Beams Curriculum and are taught by
wonderful, loving, and caring volunteers.
Other
Ministries:
Drama /
Choir -We have Kidz drama team and Kidz choir. Our choir
practices periodically for Junior Teen Talent, Christmas programs, and
special events.
